Welcome to Southeast Striders Walking Club!

Southeast Striders Walking Club in Athens, Georgia, is an affiliate of America’s Walking Club (aka American Volkssport Association – www.AVA.org). We are a non -profit organization whose mission is to encourage everyone, regardless of level of fitness, to get out, exercise and have fun doing it. Our Trailmasters create safe and interesting 5 and 10 kilometer walk events in and around Athens. Our motto is “Fun, Fitness and Friendship”. Our walking activities are open to everyone.

Next Walk:  “Carrs Hill 5K” sponsored by Southeast Striders Walking Club, Saturday, September 21 at 9:30 am to register and 9:45 am  to step off to walk.  Meet at Dudley Park, 1177 East Broad Street, Athens, GA.  Avoid UGA parking spaces by parking at the back of the lot in Park-Trails Parking spaces.
