Welcome to Southeast Striders Walking Club!

Southeast Striders Walking Club in Athens, Georgia, is an affiliate of America’s Walking Club (aka American Volkssport Association – www.AVA.org). We are a non -profit organization whose mission is to encourage everyone, regardless of level of fitness, to get out, exercise and have fun doing it. Our Trailmasters create safe and interesting 5 and 10 kilometer walk events in and around Athens. Our motto is “Fun, Fitness and Friendship”. Our walking activities are open to everyone.

Next Walk:  “Watkinsville – 5K” sponsored by Southeast Striders Walking Club, Saturday, January 25 at 10:45 am, followed by LUNCH at the White Tiger Restaurant in Watkinsville.  Meet in the parking lot on 10 Water Street, Watkinsville, GA.  There are restrooms in the parking lot, which is located behind the County Courthourse.   $4 to walk, $11 for T-shirts.   POC: Harold Weber, 904-704-8402.
